The Henston Fonts

The Henston is a flared serif font family inspired in part by incised letterforms, such as Berthold Wolpe’s Albertus and Hermann Zapf’s Optima. Its subtle shaping is ideal for display, yet the open forms maintain legibility at subhead and text sizes. The companion italics take cues from calligraphy, and with ligatures and alternates, these typefaces will enhance websites, magazines, book covers, and branding. Available in seven weights — Thin to Black — The Henston adds warmth to any project.
